Default rule
Ticket purchases are generally final. ticketZ does not currently offer customer self-serve refunds in the app. Change of mind, scheduling conflicts, weather you consider inconvenient, or being denied entry for a published venue rule (for example ID or age) are not automatic refund reasons.
Cancelled events
If a vendor marks an event as cancelled or the event does not take place, you are entitled to a refund of the ticket price you paid through ticketZ, unless a different remedy is required by applicable consumer protection law. We will work with the vendor and Stripe to reverse the charge. Processing time depends on your bank or card issuer.
Platform or payment errors
If you are charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or do not receive a valid ticket after a successful Stripe payment because of a platform error, contact us and we will correct it (refund, ticket reissue, or both).
Vendor-granted refunds
Vendors may choose to refund a buyer. Those refunds are processed through the platform and Stripe, not in cash at the door unless the vendor arranges that separately. Until we add per-event refund rules in the product, any extra vendor promise must be honoured by that vendor.
How to request a refund
Email privacy-ticketz@email.odidor.co with your order details, or contact the organizer using the email or phone on the event page. Include the event name, order date, and the email used at checkout. We may ask the vendor to confirm cancellation or goodwill approval before Stripe refunds a charge.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank, we and Stripe may share order records to respond. Unjustified chargebacks can lead to account suspension.
Consumer laws
Nothing in this policy limits rights you cannot waive under Canadian federal or provincial consumer protection law. If those rules require a broader refund in your province or territory, those rules prevail.
